During a Matcha Workshop at Hug the Tea (in the Hague) we’re going to work with Matcha, the green the powder from Japan. After the demo you are going to make Matcha tea with the ‚chasen‘ (bamboo whisk) according to the Japanese Tea Ceremony. And we are going to make and taste more Matcha drinks and bites, like the Matcha latte + sweets. We will close the workshop with a Japanese loose leaf tea in kyusu. MATCHA WORKSHOP EVENT

What can I expect of a Matcha Workshop?

During a Matcha Workshop we will work with Matcha, the green powdered tea from Japan. The workshop consists of the background story of matcha, a demo, making your own drink and tasting it!

We are going to prepare Matcha with the ‚chasen‘ (bamboo beater) according to the Japanese tea ceremony.
In addition, we will taste several drinks and snacks in which Matcha is incorporated, including the Matcha Latte.
