This Japanese bowl (chawan) is specially made to prepare matcha tea. This bowl is made from high-quality and strong ceramics and comes from Japan. It's a good size of 13 cm wide whick is very suitable for the large matcha whisk.

The Japanese bowl can also be used to drink the matcha tea directly after whisking the matcha. This is according to Japanese tradition.
