Mochi Workshop – Daifuku Mochi – Winter Edition
Thu night 29th of January 7:30 P.M. at Hug the Tea
Join us to learn how to make handmade Daifuku Mochi ánd Matcha tea! In the workshop, we’ll first give you a matcha demo and serve you a Daifuku mochi with Japanese tea /or matcha. While savoring this delicious combination, you’ll be introduced to the world of Daifuku Mochi. We will demonstrate the step-by-step process of making Daifuku Mochi, and then it’s your turn to try! At the end of the workshop, you will create 4 Daifuku Mochi to take home in a box; perfect as a gift for your loved ones! Throughout the session, Hug the Tea will serve various rounds of Japanese teas.
Additional Information
– In this workshop, we do not make Anko (sweet red bean paste). We’ll provide our own-made Anko for the workshop.
– It is recommended that you bring an apron to avoid getting powder on your clothes.
