During a Matcha Workshop at Hug the Tea (in the Hague) we’re going to work with Matcha, the green the powder from Japan. After the demo you are going to make Matcha tea with the ‘chasen’ (bamboo whisk) according to the Japanese Tea Ceremony. And we are going to make and taste more Matcha drinks and bites, like the Matcha latte + sweets. We will close the workshop with a Japanese loose leaf tea in kyusu. Would you like to schedule a Matcha Workshop in our Matcha bar in The Hague? On Saturdays Workshops are not possible unfortunately. Please send an email te plan a date.

MATCHA WORKSHOP

Every month we organize Tea Tastings in our bar, mostly on Thursday nights (announced at our Social Media). During a Tea Tasting we serve five organic teas (incl. Matcha!) with bites, also called “tea-pairing”. It’s also possible to plan a Matcha Workshop with us. During a Matcha Workshop we’re going to work with Matcha, the green tea powder from Japan.

What can I expect of a Matcha Workshop?

We are going to make Matcha with the ‘chasen’ (bamboo whisk) by the Japanese Tea Ceremony. And we are going to make and taste different Matcha beverages and bites, like the Matcha Latte.

– Extra: You’ll get a bamboo whisk (value €18,95) for free to take with you at home.

If you would like to schedule a Matcha Workshop on any date, you can send an e-mail. Interested? On Saturdays Workshops are not possible unfortunately but it’s possible on weekdays.
