Mochi Workshop – Daifuku Mochi – Spring Edition
Join us to learn how to make handmade Daifuku Mochi ánd Matcha tea! In the workshop, we’ll first give you a matcha demo and serve you a strawberry Daifuku with Japanese tea /or matcha. While savoring this delicious combination, you’ll be introduced to the world of Daifuku Mochi. We will demonstrate the step-by-step process of making Daifuku Mochi, and then it’s your turn to try! This SPRING edition features special seasonal flavors like sakura and yuzu.
At the end of the workshop, you will create 4 Daifuku Mochi to take home in a box—perfect as a gift for your loved ones! Throughout the session, Hug the Tea will serve various rounds of Japanese teas, enhancing your spring experience.
Additional Information
– In this workshop, we do not make Anko (sweet red bean paste). We’ll provide our own-made Anko for the workshop.
– It is recommended that you bring an apron to avoid getting powder on your clothes.
