Dalgona coffee is the latest coffee hype. Dalgona coffee is slightly different from regular coffee and consists mainly of (cold) milk, which is topped with a thick layer of whipped, light coffee cream (instant coffee).

How to make a Dalgona Matcha coffee? – DIY
Dalgona Matcha coffee – Do it yourself! Instead of instant coffee you can use fresh espresso/coffee and put some delightful Matcha whipped cream on top for the perfect finishing touch.
Caramel syrup (Monin) or agave syrup – 2 teaspoons
Topping: Matcha cream (2-3 servings)
Whipped cream | 200 ml
Sugar | 2 tablespoons
Matcha | 2.5 teaspoons
Dalgona matcha coffee 5-step-plan
Step 1: Matcha water: Put 1,5 teaspoon of Matcha in a bowl with 2 tablespoons of warm water
Step 2: Use the bamboo brush / whisk and make a smooth paste.
Step 3: Do the following in a glass: caramel syrup, matcha water, ice cubes and almond milk
Step 4: Carefully pour in the shot of coffee/espresso so that the coffee floats on top.
Dalgona finishing touch!
Step 5: Beat the whipped cream and sugar with a mixer until lumpy – Then add the matcha and mix until fluffy – Whisk it up baby! Finally, put the matcha cream on the drink with a spoon and sprinkle some extra matcha on top if you like.
